Lead Interactive Developer - Aug. 12th, 2008

In this important role, you will be an integral part of the web design team. The successful candidate will be an experienced interative developer with some solid experience under your belt and an extreme drive and ambition to take your creative career to the next level.

Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

Authoring/programming interactive content to be delivered as network delivery (primarily the Internet) or disk-based media. Database development & related programming requirements. Designs, develops, and implements software packages for web sites. Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code. Requires a degree or certification in a related area and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in related areas. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the following fields:

• MS SQL Server
• MySQL
• Microsoft IIS
• .NET Based Programming Languages
• ActionScript
• PHP
• Flex
• HTML
• CSS
• CGI
• JavaScript Other Related Technologies

Candidates rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of tasks and will work under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Secondary responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following: Providing insight and planning for new upcoming projects and offer input related to the functional aspects of such endeavors.

This position will require involvement with the approach and definition of new projects as they are brought into DWS. Additionally, this position entails working with the department manager to oversee the integrity of other development occurring within this department. Some light IT support, server & systems maintenance, general technical systems upkeep, other similar tasks as assigned.

This full-time position is based in Eden Prairie, MN. No freelance or out of country.

Video Editor, After Effects Guru - Aug. 12th, 2008

DreamWorld Studios is currently looking for an experienced editor who knows compositing and has a good eye for design. The desired candidate should be able to jump right in and start editing TV spots and other video pieces. And we could really use someone who knows After Effects, Premiere Pro (or equivalent), After Effects and After Effects.

This is a full time permanent position and has all the normal full time benefits - health insurance, vacation, camaraderie with a group of disturbing individuals - you know, typical stuff.
